Our Story
Look At Me Now Hair and Makeup Artistry was founded by Kalah Rooney in 2010. Look At Me Now Hair and Makeup Artistry was developed as a concierge to serve all areas of the industry for each and every client. Keeping the Artistry mobile was inspired by the many years where Kalah traveled across various states servicing clientele in all areas of hair and makeup.
Kalah Rooney is a Certified Makeup Artist and Licensed Cosmetologist with years of experience in the fashion, editorial, avant garde, wedding and bridal industries, among others. Kalah also has plenty of experience working with photographers as an artist as well as a Creative Director. Additionally, Kalah has experience as a cinematic Makeup Artist with Creative Director film credits.
Kalah’s work has been featured in multiple Vogue segments, Essence and so much more! She’s worked with the likes of Marc Jacobs, Phillipe Bevan during fashion week as well as VH1 to further enhance her work and experience.
Catering to film, creatives, directors, actors, performers, musicians and influencers alike, Kalah’s future goals are to serve this clientele abroad.
